Our Split Sailing Itinerary A - 7 day begins from one of the marinas in Split area. Trogir, Kaštela or Split are  a typical Mediterranean cities with ideal weather for excursions from May to October. You will be impressed by the remarkable historic old towns that drives you back to the Roman times. This itinerary is approximately 110 NM, which makes it perfect for families with kids and sailors that like to relax and spend more time at one of many beautiful swimming points.

*Itinerary is not fixed and is a subject of change according to the weather forecast of the sailing week. Best is to have 2-3 "must see" spots and let your skipper organize the itinerary accordingly, with some hidden gems on the way.

This picturesque route offers stunning views of the Adriatic coastline, with its crystal-clear waters and lush green islands scattered along the way. Milna, a hidden gem, is one of those quintessential Mediterranean fishing villages that seem frozen in time, a place where the charm of old-world seafaring life still lingers. In the past, the protected cove of Milna served as a crucial shipping harbor, providing a safe haven for vessels transporting the renowned Brač stone, which was used in the construction of the grand Diocletian's Palace in Split. Today, Milna continues to preserve its maritime heritage, offering visitors a serene escape with its historic stone buildings and tranquil atmosphere.

Day 2. Set sail towards the historical jewel of the island of Hvar: the city of Stari Grad. Established in 384 B.C., Stari Grad is nestled on the northwest coast of the island, positioned within a deep and sheltered cove. This strategic location has made it an essential and secure harbor for sailors navigating the Mediterranean for centuries. As you approach Stari Grad, the blend of ancient charm and natural beauty is striking. The city is renowned for its well-preserved historical sites and cultural landmarks, including ancient Greek ruins and medieval architecture, which together create a captivating experience for visitors. Day 3. Set sail to Hvar Town on the island of Hvar, Croatia, a destination that seems straight out of a fairy tale with its enchanting architecture, stunning natural beauty, and gentle climate. Hvar Town offers a perfect blend of tranquility and rejuvenation, providing an idyllic escape where every visitor can find peace for the soul and relaxation for the body. As you explore, be sure to visit the historic Fortica, perched high above the town. This fortress offers an unforgettable panoramic view, allowing you to gaze upon the charming city of Hvar, its picturesque surroundings, and the sparkling Pakleni Islands. The breathtaking vistas from Fortica will enhance your experience of this magical place, leaving you with lasting memories of Hvar's unique allure.

This tranquil town offers a serene escape with its coastal promenades, charming 17th-century buildings in various stages of decay, and narrow alleyways that meander gently upward from the seafront. Strolling through Vis Town, you'll be enveloped by its laid-back atmosphere and historical character. To truly experience the local culture, be sure to visit some of the island's renowned restaurants and sample the traditional dish known as 'Peka.' This slow-cooked delicacy, often made with tender meat and vegetables, is a culinary highlight that reflects the rich flavors and traditions of the region.

Sail to Komiža Town on Vis Island, Croatia, where a rich fishing tradition is deeply woven into the town's character and the friendly demeanor of its inhabitants. Komiža is well-sheltered from northern winds, making it the warmest place in Croatia during the winter months. This charming town, with its vibrant maritime heritage, invites you to explore its scenic beauty and local culture. While in Komiža, don't miss the chance to visit the Blue Cave on the nearby island of Biševo. This stunning natural wonder is renowned for its mesmerizing, otherworldly blue light that illuminates the cave's interior, creating an unforgettable visual experience.

Sail to Maslinica on Solta Island, Croatia, where the south side of the bay is adorned with a lush pine forest and tranquil rocky beaches, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Just offshore, you'll find an enchanting archipelago of seven islets that add to the allure of Maslinica, making it one of the most breathtaking spots in the Adriatic. The natural beauty of this area harmonizes perfectly with the historic charm of the old castle and the quaint stone houses that line the waterfront. This idyllic combination of pristine nature and historical architecture provides a peaceful retreat and a feast for the senses.         

Day 7. On your final day, set sail around the charming islands of Mali and Veli Drvenik. We recommend anchoring in Krknjasi Bay, nestled between the east coast of Veli Drvenik and the islet of Krknjaš. This tranquil bay offers a perfect spot for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. After a leisurely dip, sail back towards your base marina where you'll spend the night. As you return to Split, Trogir, or Kaštela, you'll be captivated by the remarkable historic old towns, each a living testament to the region's Roman heritage. The ancient architecture and cobblestone streets of these cities will transport you back in time, providing a fitting end to your Adriatic adventure.
