Our Dubrovnik Sailing Itinerary B - 7 day begins from the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik (or surrounding area). Dubrovnik old town with the spectacular city walls, the finest in the world and the city's main claim to fame. This sailing itinerary from Dubrovnik is longer, approximately 180 NM, which makes it perfect for people that want to sail and see more of Croatian islands.

Day 1: Start from ACI Marina Dubrovnik – Sail to Lopud, Šunj Bay (Elaphiti Islands)

Begin your adventure at ACI Marina Dubrovnik, and set sail toward the Elaphiti Islands, specifically Lopud Island. Anchor at Šunj Bay, renowned for its stunning sandy beach, a rare find in Croatia. The bay is sheltered and ideal for a peaceful swim or beach day. Lopud is car-free and perfect for relaxed exploration, with charming walking paths through lush vegetation.

Day 2: Sail to Pomena, Mljet Island

Leave Lopud and sail to Pomena on the island of Mljet. The village lies on the northwestern tip of the island and serves as the main gateway to Mljet National Park. Explore the park’s two saltwater lakes, Veliko and Malo Jezero, and take a boat ride to the islet of St. Mary in the middle of Veliko Jezero, where you’ll find a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. The lush surroundings of Pomena make it a quiet, scenic escape.

Day 3: Sail to Zaklopatica Bay, Lastovo Island

From Mljet, head toward the remote Zaklopatica Bay on the island of Lastovo. This bay is part of the Lastovo Archipelago Nature Park, offering untouched natural beauty and crystal-clear waters. The area is perfect for diving, swimming, and sunbathing, while the nearby restaurants serve excellent Dalmatian cuisine, including fresh seafood. The view from Zaklopatica includes a breathtaking sunset over the Adriatic Sea.

Day 4: Sail to Pakleni Islands, Hvar

Set sail for the Pakleni Islands, located just off the coast of Hvar. This group of islands is known for its secluded beaches and crystal-clear coves. Anchor in a quiet bay, enjoy a swim, and take in the natural beauty of the islands. You can also make a short hop over to Hvar Town, where you can visit the historic fort Fortica, explore Hvar’s lively nightlife, and dine in one of the many fantastic restaurants.

Day 5: Sail to Korčula Old Town

On day five, sail to the island of Korčula and dock near Korčula Old Town, a well-preserved medieval walled city. Explore the narrow, fishbone-patterned streets, visit the Cathedral of St. Mark, and take in the vibrant atmosphere of this historic town. Korčula is known for its wine, so be sure to sample some local varieties, such as Pošip and Grk.

Day 6: Sail to Šipan, Suđurađ (Elaphiti Islands)

After exploring Korčula, sail to the island of Šipan, docking in Suđurađ. This picturesque village is home to many palaces and summer residences that once belonged to Dubrovnik’s nobility. Take a stroll through the town’s peaceful streets and enjoy the island’s rustic charm. The port of Suđurađ is ideal for a quiet, relaxing evening after a day of sailing.

On your final day, sail back toward ACI Marina Dubrovnik. If time permits, enjoy a leisurely morning in Šipan or take another stop at one of the Elaphiti Islands for a final swim. Once back in Dubrovnik, you can spend the evening exploring the city’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, with its ancient walls and impressive fortifications.
